The Founding Partners
Kenneth Chan and Kenneth Sun’s story began in 2010.
Kenneth Chan had been a sales director at a listed company specializing in office furniture for over a decade. He oversaw the Southeast Asian market and was working very closely with another Kenneth, Kenneth Sun, at the same company. Sun was in charge of the marketing and production team. Sun was a veteran in the industry with 20+ years’ experience and was known for being a pioneer of importing well-known office furniture brands from overseas to Hong Kong.
With their mutual understanding and complementary competencies, both Kenneths have a vision “to do better” by delivering a more simplified and delightful customer experience. So, by utilizing their 20-plus years of office furniture service experience, they continue to grow the business guided by the “WE DO BETTER” philosophy.

HIQ was founded in 1998 in Shanghai by Kenneth Chan and Kenneth Sun with the mission to combine over 15 years’ experience in the office furniture industry to deliver a more fluid and simplistic customer experience.
