This theatre is located on the eastern side of Qingdao city and consists of an opera house, multifunction hall, media center, and hotel. The Opera House comes with 1,600 seats, and the multifunction hall with 1,200 seats, thus making it one of the grand theatres of this region.
The excellent architecture of the building, makes the Qingdao grand theatre stand out. The client wanted the interiors to blend in well with the sophisticated architecture of the building. Thus, each piece of furniture was carefully selected to leave a lasting impression on the audience. Avarte was selected to provide the seating for the auditorium. We supplied a minimalistic and lightweight auditorium chair after carefully considering the floor layout of the space.
